Free Platform Matching Tool

Parasite Site Finder:
Free Platform Matcher.

Enter a keyword. Get matched to the platforms most likely to rank it.

Matches against finance, crypto, SaaS, ecommerce, B2B, developer, photography, podcast and more. This tool does not scan Google live.

01 — Honest Tool Scope

What this tool actually does.

Be straight with yourself about what a tool like this can and can't do before you use it, because a lot of "parasite finder" tools out there imply something they're not delivering.

This tool does not run a live scan of Google's search results. It doesn't crawl the current SERP for your exact keyword and tell you which specific URLs are ranking today. Building that honestly would mean live SERP scraping infrastructure and a real time Domain Authority feed, the kind of thing Ahrefs and SEMrush charge real subscription money for, and we're not going to fake that behind a free tool just to look impressive.

What it does instead: it reads your keyword, matches it against the categories we've seen perform well across 250+ campaigns since 2011, finance, crypto, SaaS, ecommerce, B2B, and more, and returns the platforms from our own researched dataset that fit that category best. The Domain Authority figures are real, pulled from Moz and reviewed periodically. The indexing windows are real, based on what we've seen across our own campaigns. The match is a curated recommendation, not a live crawl.

This is the same honest distinction we make everywhere else on this site. We'd rather tell you exactly how something works than let you assume it's doing more than it is.

02 — Matching Logic

How the matching works.

Type in a keyword and the tool checks it against a set of category keywords, finance terms, crypto terms, SaaS terms, and so on, completely transparently. There's no hidden scoring algorithm here. If your keyword contains a word like "crypto" or "token," it tags the keyword as crypto related and surfaces platforms from our dataset that we've tagged the same way: Reddit, Medium, Benzinga, StreetInsider, the ones with a real track record in that niche.

If your keyword doesn't match any specific category, the tool defaults to general purpose platforms, Medium and LinkedIn chief among them, since those two carry enough Domain Authority and topical breadth to be a reasonable starting point for almost any commercial term.

This means the tool can miss nuance a real keyword research session would catch. It won't know your specific competition, your exact search volume, or your keyword difficulty score. For that, we run actual Ahrefs and SEMrush data as part of every paid campaign, the same research that goes into your audit before we ever publish a single placement.

03 — Why Curated

Why we built a curated tool instead of a fake live scanner.

ParasiteSEO.com built its core product around exactly the live SERP scanning idea: scan Google, find DA 70 plus sites already ranking, hand you the opportunity list. That's a legitimate product, and if you want that specific function, their tool does it.

Our business is different. We're a done for you service, not a tool company, and a free tool exists here to give you a useful taste of the thinking that goes into a real campaign, not to replicate a SaaS subscription product for free. Building a convincing fake version of live SERP scanning, one that looks like it's checking Google in real time but is actually just running the same canned logic regardless of input, would be worse than not building the tool at all. You'd think you were getting current data and you'd be getting nothing of the sort.

So we built the honest version. A real, useful keyword to platform matcher, built on real data we maintain ourselves, that tells you exactly what it is and isn't doing. If what you actually need is a live competitive scan of who's ranking for your exact term right now, that's a research step we run manually with Ahrefs and SEMrush as part of a paid campaign, because that kind of analysis genuinely benefits from a person who knows what they're looking at, not just an algorithm.

04 — Next Steps

What to do with your results.

Once the tool surfaces a few platform matches, here's the honest next step for each type of result:

Free platforms (Medium, LinkedIn, Reddit, Quora, and similar): these are good DIY candidates if you have the time to write and publish yourself, or pricing for done for you placement starts at $125 for a Starter package covering five placements.

Premium placements (Benzinga, StreetInsider, Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, AP News): these require an actual submission and editorial process we manage directly, since none of them have a self serve button you can click. See our premium news placements page for how each one works and what it costs.

Whatever the tool suggests, treat it as a shortlist to investigate, not a final answer. The platform that wins for your specific keyword also depends on what's currently ranking, how much competition sits on that platform already, and what kind of content angle you can credibly publish there. That's exactly the judgment call a done for you campaign exists to make for you.

05 — FAQ

Straight answers.

Does this tool scan Google in real time? +

No. It matches your keyword to a curated dataset of platforms based on category, not a live search results crawl. We're upfront about that distinction because plenty of similar tools imply otherwise.

Where do the DA numbers come from? +

Moz, reviewed periodically. They're real reference figures, not numbers generated to make a result look more impressive.

Why doesn't it show me the exact sites ranking for my keyword right now? +

That requires live SERP scraping and real time DA lookups, the kind of infrastructure tools like Ahrefs and SEMrush charge for. We run that level of research manually as part of every paid campaign rather than faking it in a free tool.

Is this free to use? +

Yes, with no signup required to try a keyword.

Can I use this instead of hiring your service? +

You can use it to get oriented on which platforms might fit your keyword. Writing the content, getting it published in a way that survives editorial review, building the Tier 2 link layer, and tracking the result is the part a done for you campaign actually handles. See our services.

How often is the dataset updated? +

We review and refresh the platform list and DA figures periodically as platforms shift, new ones gain traction, others tighten moderation or lose relevance.
